My story so far.
I was born in the 60's in Gloucestershire, UK. A rather large baby and horrible as a child so my mum has told me. I grew up with 2 younger sisters Debbie and Kathryn. Went to High School and received a reasonable education.
Did a bit in civilain life before I began my career in the British Army in 1981. Spent some time in Germany then returned to the UK London to be exact where I met Jan we went out for 2 years and eventually got married in the February of 1988. We were married for 9 months before our first little bundle of joy Mark decided to join us in December. Don't let anyone tell you having children is easy, phew he was hard work. (Cannot imagine where he got that from ;-).
In 1990 we were posted to Germany which was fantastic except Jan had never been abroad before. It was both exciting and scarey for her. We lived in a large German groundfloor flat in a lovely village on the Dutch border. The German people are wonderful and the lifestyle was brilliant. Jan eventually found her feet and was loving the eperience. Then we had another little blessing Daniel in the August.
We eventually came back to good old blighty where we had 2 further postings and finally settled here in Dorset. Jan is now the bar manager in the mess. Mark began his career as a cook and Daniel has followed his brother and is also a budding chef. Both are growing into fine young men. Very proud and lucky. We have 2 mad dogs Hardy and Molly. Hardy is a 7 year old Border Collie with a dodgy ear and a love for football. Whilst Molly is our new puppy, now a year old. A Jack Russel/Lurcher cross, very strange.
I enjoy watching football and rugby, my playing days are well gone. Too damaged. I enjoy going to the gym and working out trying to keep this middle age spread at bay and failing lol.
We love to visit the family when we can and travel the world. We want to visit as much of this wonderful world as possible. We enjoy concerts and watching the wrestling, we go and see WWE whenever they are in the UK, Jan and Daniel love it. We have made so many great friends and have so many memories and are always embarking on new adventures.
We have recently adopted two bee hives! Why, I hear you ask. Our fuzzy black and yellow friends are vital to our well-being as they pollinate the plants that we grow for food. But our British bees and the worlds are in crisis. Their population is dwindling at an alarming rate under attack from viruses, pesticides and mites. People say "If we lose the bees the earth will die". Is that not a good reason to adopt a hive. http://www.adoptahive.co.uk/
You may have something like this in your own country.
We hope you will enjoy exploring our site and come back again. We hope to update this site often.
